CLOZIER HOMEWORK CLUB BENEFITS FROM DONATIONS

A concerted effort by the Clozier Development Committee resulted in the formation, last October, of a homework club to assist the young students of the Village with their various assignments and projects.

The human resource commitment is only one aspect of the successful running of the club, material and infrastructure has to be acquired to ensure the work of the club is productive. To this end a request was made for the provision of some of the most necessary items for the Club.

On Tuesday September 18th, 2012 a substantive package that included tables, a printer/scanner/copier, books and stationery were handed over at the Clozier Community Center to the Clozier Homework Club.

The items were donated to the Club by Grenadians in New York after a request from Dexter Mitchell.

A heartfelt thank you to Jacqueline Scoon, Elsa Passee, Lashley Harford, Eugene Rose and Hettie Haynes for their generous contributions to the educational development of the young students of Clozier.
