The world is beautiful
But so many people are sad,
Observing, praying and reasoning;
Of the bloodshed and disaster
The weak and the strong
Of the poor and the hungry...

      ...Ah does wonder.

About my brothers and sisters in Africa -
Britain, France and Holland
For enslaving my ancestors
Does your identity or class matter?
Don't we all need each other
To develop and construct a better life?

    ...Ah does wonder.

Get rid of destructive inventions
And detrimental elements -
Killing nature and increasing starvation -
When mankind sees another as himself
And develops an understanding
Will that pack all differences on the shelf?

    ...Ah does wonder 

        ***

Look how happy we can be
Living like one big family,
Breaking the boundaries of language
And cementing our ideology together.
Can we live in peace and harmony
For our children's future?

   ...Ah does wonder.
