about us

Grenada, Grenada, Land of Ours!

Where our parents and fore-parents laboured
for many long and painful hours

the Land of our forefathers

the Land that keeps striving

with vibrant , beautiful colors

with only rain and sun to help

grow such beautiful flowers

As Grenadians out here, we should be proud
To know this Land... She is ours

She is ours... She belongs to us
Remember, Mother Grenada.

She gave birth to us as she did to our Forefathers
She pampers us, she nourishes us

She gives us strength and watches us grow

She educates us and sets us free
So each one of us could be what we want to be

Let`s not take Mama for granted
We should be there for her when it`s most wanted

She gives us her heart... She gives us her soul

Now it`s time to console

It is our Mother Grenada she is growing old
In our hands she should be held
Let us give Grenada what she wants
That love that is so true to her

Not the colors that separate us from her
But the love of her children joining their hearts
And hands together to rebuild Mother Grenada
